To tell the story of his childhood in Madagascar, instead of dealing directly with the post-independence period in Madagascar in the 1970s, director Robin Campillo collects fragments of personal and military memories and carefully assembles them to create an original and refined structure based on the point of view of an eight-year-old child, who discreetly observes his environment and captures snippets of reality with his overflowing imagination.
Robin Campillo, director of "120 battements par minute" , Nadia Tereszkiewicz, a rising star in French cinema, and Quim Gutiérrez, a well-known Spanish actor, will also be present at these estivals around the world.
