Geneviève Lemal - CEO & Producer

Geneviève Lemal is a graduate in applied economics from the Institute of Administration and Management at the Université Catholique de Louvain. She also has a Master’s in Asian Studies and an MBA from Cornell University. Geneviève began her career by spending ten years as a financial analyst for a series of international business banks (Deutsche Bank, Crédit Agricole Indosuez and Dresdner Bank), first in Sydney, then in Hong Kong and finally in London. In 2002, she was selected to take part in the MEGA MEDIA programme, a training course specialising in the trades involved with audiovisual production and distribution, sponsored by the European Commission, for which she was awarded first prize. Geneviève then worked for a number of major independent producers in Paris and Brussels. In 2003, she created SCOPE Invest, an investment fund operating under the Tax Shelter system. This enabled her to invest in permit 9 films, including “L’Enfant” by the Dardenne brothers, which won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes film festival in 2005. In 2005, Geneviève founded her own production company, “SCOPE Pictures”, in order to host foreign productions in Belgium spending some of their production budget in Belgium. In 2007, she created the Fortis Film fund in collaboration with Fortis Bank, which is now part of the BNP Paribas group. She was a member of the investment committee until 2010. Since then, Geneviève has coproduced over 130 feature films that have gone on to commercial success and have won awards at various prestigious film festivals. Geneviève Lemal seeks to develop creative projects aimed at the international market and which focus on themes that make audiences laugh, dream, think and experience the world. Geneviève Lemal is a member of the UPFF and the Film Selection Commission of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

Tahereh Khazrai - Associate Producer

Tahereh Khazrai has an Executive MBA from ESSEC, as well as a degree in cinema and a Master’s in history from the Sorbonne. She began her career at Wild Bunch in 1999 and was then vice president international sales at StudioCanal from 2002 to 2010. In June 2010, she joined Cinecapital, a subsidiary of Cofiloisirs, where for 7 years she guided the investments of SOFICA Socifinéma and Cinecap as Investment Director. She joined SCOPE Pictures in July 2017 as Associate Producer. Based in Paris, Tahereh is responsible for the coproduction of films from France, Italy, Germany and Eastern Europe that are eligible under the Belgian Tax Shelter scheme.

Nicolas Honorez - Project Manager

A graduate of Inraci and great film-lover, Nicolas joined SCOPE Pictures in 2012 after working in various capacities on documentaries, feature films and commercials. He is currently in charge of marketing SCOPE films for the Benelux, handling the follow-up of co-productions and representing SCOPE on the various film markets. He is also responsible for distribution at TeleScope Film Distribution.

Charlotte Dulière - Coproduction Manager

Charlotte Dulière was awarded a Master’s degree in the History of Art, majoring in contemporary art, from UCL in 2011. She was then hired as production assistant at Saga Film and then as project development coordinator at Wajnbrosse Productions. After an enriching 4 years gaining experience in audiovisual production, Charlotte joined the SCOPE Pictures team at the end 2015, where she is involved mainly with developing finance applications and production coordination.

David Ragonig - Line Producer

David Ragonig has a Master’s in Economics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and a production certificate from Fémis in Paris and the Film Akademie in Baden Württemberg. After beginning his professional career in finance as a Mergers & Acquisitions consultant, David took a new direction towards audiovisual production in 2012. Since then, he has been involved in the executive production of numerous shorts and full-length feature films shot in Belgium and France, including “Les Profs 2” (UGC), “The Exception” (Egoli Tossel), “Rattrapage” (UGC), “Where Hands Touch” (Tantrum Films) and “A Bluebird in my Heart” (Labyrinthe). David joined the SCOPE team in 2017 as production director.

Inès De Nervo - Legal Executive

Inès has a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law from Paris II (Assas). After graduating, she spent nearly 4 years in the legal department at TF1 (responsible, in particular, for the acquisition of audiovisual programmes). Since arriving in Belgium, she has spent 9 months as Contract Manager at GlaxoSmithKline, joining the SCOPE team in January 2018 as Senior Legal Executive.

Damien Farina - Film Finance Manager

Damien Farina is an accountant by training. Having specialized in Tax Management, he embarked on a Master’s Degree in Management at the Solvay Brussels School. He worked in the rail and IT sectors before joining the SCOPE team as Film Finance Manager in January 2018.
