Tom

Tom is 11 years old. He lives in an old mobile home with Joss, his young mother. As she loves to party and go on weekends with her friends, Tom often finds himself alone. And he has to manage. To eat, he pilfers in the neighboring vegetable gardens... But as he is afraid of getting caught and being sent to the DDASS, he is very careful. One evening, while looking for a new garden in which to do his shopping, he comes across Madeleine (93), lying in the middle of her cabbages, in tears because she cannot get up. She would certainly have died, poor old thing, if little Tom hadn't been there...
