In Algeria after Bouteflika, Houria, 25, is a young and talented dancer. Cleaning lady during the day, she participates in clandestine bets at night. But one night when she won big, she was violently attacked by Ali and ended up in the hospital. Her dreams of a ballerina career are shattered. She must then accept and love her new body. Surrounded by a community of women, Houria will find meaning in her life by including dance in the reconstruction and sublimation of injured bodies... She does odd jobs hoping to join the Algerian National Ballet. But an attack ruins his hopes. Houria then begins a long process of rehabilitation and learns to accept her new body and to love it.
