Sommets

"Sommets" is a documentary mini-series that allows you to experience the negotiations of the 27 Heads of State and Government of the European Union from the inside in the style of a political thriller.

Between Brussels, Strasbourg, Paris, Berlin, The Hague, Warsaw, Madrid or Bucharest, we were able to film the development and conclusion of two historic agreements as closely as possible: on the climate in December 2019, with the firm commitment of the EU to become the first neutral continent, despite strong resistance from some Eastern European countries. Then on the European recovery plan of 750 billion euros, torn off in July 2020 at the end of a marathon summit and after a psychodrama between the countries of the North described as “frugal” and the countries of the South treated as “spendthrifts”.
